Immerse yourself in nature and embodied mindfulness practice

Beloved of the Earth

San Juan River Yoga and Meditation Retreat

June 20-23, 2025

Bluff, Utah

Authenticity

In everyday life, you may feel disconnected from your true self.

Day to day there isn't space to feel your heart's desires or touch into the abundant resilience that sustains you.

Open yourself to deep belonging within the natural world.

Cultivate spaciousness through slowing down, embodied practice, and inner reflection.

Embrace your most authentic self.

Connection

On this rafting yoga retreat you will embrace connection to your inner rhythms as they mirror nature's cycles.

Claim space to savor the pleasures of slowing down immersed in red rocks, summer sun, and flowing water.

Stretch yourself inside and out through yoga and meditation.

Rest deeply, held by the river.

Give yourself the gift of play, exploration, and reflection.

We strive to hold space for you that is inclusive and affirming, that honors the dignity of every life, human and greater than human, the land, and the lineages of these practices.

Allow yourself to unplug.

Reconnect with nature.

Feel your body’s rhythms in community.

Meet Your Retreat Facilitators

Melissa Keller (she/her) is a RYT-500 and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner. Melissa grew up in Arizona and spent her childhood exploring the Four Corners region, where her grandparents and parents were wilderness guides. In her yoga classes, she infuses yoga and nervous system regulation skills to create an environment for students to gain a felt-sense of safety, strength, pleasure, and acceptance of the present moment. Melissa is passionate about using her own experiences as a queer survivor of complex trauma to support others on their own healing journeys. She loves movement, being outside, and fully embracing the ebbs and flows of life. She lives and teaches on Dakota land now known as Minneapolis, MN.

Andrea Meronuck (she/her) is a somatic & transformational coach. Her work is grounded in supporting folks to trust themselves more deeply. She helps people to open honestly to their full human experiences, gives permission & approval to what has been cast into the inner shadows, & helps people find more satisfying intimacy. She is a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, Body Trust® Practitioner & Certified Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher. She loves body based energy practices of yoga & qigong. Andrea teaches emotional regulation, embodiment, and intuitive ritual practice and has lead several meditation retreats. She loves swimming, hiking and camping and has been the trip leader of numerous private San Juan River trips.

“ I felt so much support from the Earth! So grounding and so rooted. A reminder to continuously connect with that whenever I feel out of sorts or out of balance.” -2024 retreat participant

Meet Your River Trip Leader

Kim Whitley (she/her) is a raft and wilderness guide with more than 20 years of experience on the San Juan River. When she’s not on the water, Kim is a human service professional advocating for family caregivers and services that support our elders aging in place. Kim takes her coffee beside two ornery sheep, plays a banjo with more enthusiasm than skill, and believes strongly in the power of outdoor experiences to create healing communities through common bonds.

“Practices felt safe and supportive, all involved (including the outfitters) showed deep care and respect for everyone and the river as well.” -2024 Retreat Participant
